Buses Are Hard Work

Waiting for a bus
That never comes
Is simply quite annoying
But when two come at the same time
You get more annoyed
As you’re not sure which to choose
You also know
That whichever one you get on
Will be a wrong decision!

One will have the annoying kids
That sit at the back
And throw things at the people
Who sit at the front
They are always loud
And leave the bus looking like
Someone has emptied a bin
Out on the floor

The other one will have the old people
Who have to sit down
That is, where you are sat comfortably
With your feet stretched out
In the disabled and elderly seats
So you move and then sit in the crap seats
Uncomfortably

You pay for your ticket
And decide that the bus with the elderly
Is far better than the annoying kids
And then just as you sit down
A third bus passes by
Brand new, fresh new seats
And empty!

But you’re stuck with this bus
Until you have reached your destination
Or decided that you cannot stand it anymore
Get off and walk!
