To eye and smile
Across the air
To steal a moment
But never stare
To know that we
Shall never meet
Is accepting fate
In such defeat
The mutual friend
That we do share
Could unite us in hand
To make a pair
But accepting this
Will never be
Is letting chance run its course
Just to see...
...to see if there
Is any way
For Karma to be kind
And have destiny at play
